Christopher Gardner, Ph.D., is the Rehnborg Farquhar Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and Research Professor at Stanford Prevention Research Center. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Gardner has led more than 20 human nutrition intervention trials that have involved 2,000+ study participants and $20M+ in research funding. Dr. Gardner currently chairs the American Heart Association’s Nutrition Committee and serves on the 2025 US Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. He is a scientific advisor for multiple health organizations. In 2021, Dr. Gardner and Sally Duplantier co-authored a paper published in Nutrients, focused on the link between diet and cognitive decline.
ANNIE FENN, Md
Annie Fenn, MD, is a physician, author, culinary instructor, and daughter of a person living with Alzheimer’s. Her mission is to help you take care of your brain while still eating delicious food.
After practicing obstetrics and gynecology for 20+ years, Dr. Fenn traded her stethoscope for a whisk and went back to school to study culinary arts in Mexico, Italy, and at the Culinary Institute of America. She founded the Brain Health Kitchen cooking school in 2015 as a way to bring people together to fight Alzheimer’s. Today Dr. Fenn speaks throughout the U.S. and abroad about preventing Alzheimer's with lifestyle, and offers week-long intensive Brain Health Retreats in Italy and Panama. Dr. Fenn is also the author of The Brain Health Kitchen Cookbook.
