She currently works as a locum tenens family physician with experience in downtown Toronto and the Bronx, in New York City. She frequently speaks at local and national physician conferences, educating doctors about nutrition. Her writing has been published in Scientific American, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Conversation, and Healthy Debate. She is a frequent guest on television and radio shows. Her research has been published in prestigious medical journals, including JAMA Internal Medicine and the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
